I am first and foremost a storyteller.

Copywriting, at its finest, captures the essence of its subject, and crafts it into a story meant to seduce, inspire and evoke a passionate connection with its reader.

The banker tells its client of the numerous offerings available. The writer paints a picture of financial freedom.

The car salesman boasts of a vehicle’s superior qualities. The writer takes the driver onto the open road, hearing the engine roar toward a setting sun.

There is often a gap between the language of the seller and that of the buyer. Copywriting bridges that gap, redefining value in terms that appeal most poignantly to its target audience. It transforms a product into an experience, an experience into a lifestyle, and a hobby into a passion.

For a decade, I have used this philosophy in the marketing of luxury timepieces.

Along with a BA in journalism and legal philosophy from NYU, and a post-graduate education in marketing from UC Berkeley, I lived the first 12 years of my life in Paris, France, to which I owe a native fluency in both French and English.
